Beginner Garden Consulting Packages

I started offering this service because I remember how overwhelming it was to get started. So in that regard I know what questions come piling up, and how to answer them. There's so much information to absorb, and it's a tremendous relief to have someone walk you through the process and really tend to the specificities of your own land’s needs. Trial & error can be daunting and expensive, so we are here to help eliminate any unnecessary hardship. Due to the extreme nature of the high desert, growing here in our ecosystem is its own unique challenge. But with support, that challenge can also give way to lots of beauty, sweetness, and bounty.

This service is an invitation to explore your own sacred journey as a gardener, so that with some foundational understanding of plants and soil, you will then learn to be guided by the garden itself. We will cover both magical and practical applications of garden care in order to enhance its overall vitality and aliveness. Through developing this relationship to your garden, you will deepen an intuitive understanding of what it needs.

Consulting Packages Include:
Part I:
~ a scheduled time to come out to your property, see the space, and discuss your goals
~ from there I will design a comprehensive set of growing notes and plans that are customized for you in order to move forward successfully for the season.
~ notes will include my favorite plants to grow in my garden, including medicinal herbs, edible flowers, veggies, and plants for magic playmaking.
~ seeds collected from my garden to use as some of my favorite easy-to-grow flowers
~will also include notes on soil health information & soil testing kits
~~~ the cost for this would be $150

Part II:
~ from there we can do a second visit to do soil tests if you'd rather have help than perform them on your own. I would collect soil from few different areas where we plan to grow; then provide notes for how to best amend the soil in order to improve your growing conditions.
~~~ The cost for this visit & its soil amending notes would be $60, and includes the testing kits. 
~~~ If you would like to perform the tests on your own but receive feedback notes for how to amend soil, the cost would be $30

Part III:
~ After that I’m available for visits as needed through the season if you'd like to check in or troubleshoot anything. This could mean once every few weeks or not at all pending on what works for you. I am also available to answer questions from time to time via email along side of that.
